Apparently the supposedly evident rift between JT and Stevie G at this summer's World Cup had nothing to do with a lady friend and everything to do with Wayne Rooney dumping Gerrard as his number 1 BBF in favourite in favour of John Terry. Ahh poor Steven, at least you still have the England captinacy though, not that youd want it these days....
